MAMMOPLASTY / MAMOPREXY:

It refers to a group of surgical procedures, the goal of which is to reshape or otherwise modify the appearance of the breast. There are two main types of mammoplasty:

• Augmentation mammoplasty is commonly performed to increase the size, change the shape, and/or alter the texture of the breasts. This usually involves the surgical implantation of breast implant devices.
• Reduction mammoplasty is commonly performed to reduce the size, change the shape, and/or alter the texture of the breasts. This involves the removal of breast tissue.

LABIOPLASTY:

Ageing causes reduction in connective tissue and muscle tone, dryness and irritation of epithelium so the lips of labia hang, giving ugly look and unsatisfactory sex life associated with pain during intercourse. Repeated pain drives the woman away from sex, hurting married life. If the male partner does not understand this, it can result in severe marital and psychiatric problems. This procedure can be done in Local Aneasthesia/ Spinal or GA depending on the general health of patient. She needs to stay for 2-3 days in hospital and avoid sex for 2-3 weeks. There is generally no other side effects except some discomfort. Generally the couple reports marked improvement in sex life after the procedure.

HYMENOPLASTY:

Hymen is tiny thin membrane covering the vaginal entry. It has small opening just enough to let the menstrual blood to come out usually when membrane breaks at the time of first penetrative sex along with variable amount of bleeding. So it is perceived as a sure sign of virginity but in this modern era, girls participate in outdoor activity like athletics, when it may break due to this sports. In such a case the hymen membrane is created again to increase self-esteem of the girl and can lead a happy married life. It is a one day procedure and a patient can go back the same day.

G-SPOT:

G-Spot is a neuron vascular area situated on the front vaginal wall about 2-3 cm inside introitus. It can be located by inserting a figure and slowly massaging the area which produces marked excitement almost, equal to or greater than felt at clitoris. This is an OPD procedure where the surgeon injects hylase in the area making it much more prominent, hence the sexual activity becomes more pleasurable.
